Volkswagen Touareg Oil level too low with cold engine?

The Dutch Volkswagen importer, PON in Leusden, does not want to give me more information on my question : "How can it be my Volkswagen Touareg seems to have a low oil level with a cold motor while it shows perfect level with an warm engine". Who knows the answer as Volkswagen dislikes to talk with the end user of their product and the dealer does NOT KNOW the answer, so I'm lost:-)

Hi, please take a look at my video response to your problem. I have a similar problem, but mine is dry after an overnight stand and then on the second dip,it shows slightly too full.

How can this sort of thing happen??

Let's hope we get an answer as we don't know how much is in there.
