University of Nottingham students are staging an occupation in the Great Hall on University campus, in order to protest against the proposed tripling of university tuition fees, and the upcoming funding cuts to education and the public sector in general. Paul Greatrix (the university registrar) made his final statement, reiterating the fact that the university management did not support the occupation. He stated that a meeting would be held with representatives from the occupation itself and from the Students Union, on the condition that the protest came to an end imminently.

  • It is a mistake to think of statutes as Laws. The Law states no harm, theft, fraud or damage. All are subject to Law. Statutes are written rules which apply with the consent of the governed. There are so many no one knows them all. Statutes generate revenue and are often enforced unlawfully with violence. To withdraw consent to statutes while behaving Lawfully is known as LAWFUL REBELLION. To learn about some of the ways we have been tricked into consenting to statutes watch Meet Your Strawman.
