The Cathedrals Express at Reading on 3 Jul 2008 at 11 a.m. Steam special from Victoria to Bristol.

In 1937 the 100th Gresley Pacific was built by the London and North Eastern Railway, and the railway honoured her designer by giving the locomotive his name. This loco, Sir Nigel Gresley, now bearing the British Railways number 60007, was saved from
scrapping in 1966 by a small group of determined men who set up the A4 Preservation Society.

  • The green train is a bit grim.

  • Nice vid

  • Thanks. There are no tube trains at Reading. You will have to wait for Cross Rail to arrive at 2025.
