  • Hey another question for you, I saw a video from a car following what looked suspiciously like your WE4 while driving on some city streets. Is that you? If so I can't find the video to save my life.

Is this the one? I know Ontario is not a City but some Canadians do hate on Americans and let us know immediately! BTW. I know several Canadians at work and from clans on PS3, they are very nice peeps!!! My video is on street fire.

  • Chris, isn't your GN actually a WE4?

  • Yup sure is. But the general public know it as a GN.

  • Okay, so long as I can still be pedantic and correct people :)

And I heard your Duttweiler V8 used to belong to Tony Christian...also true?

  • Christian is a mountain motor nitrous guy. I met him in Florida, comes off like an asshole. It's his style.

The motor use to be in Bob Reiger's ride. Reiger won against Christian with the turbo combination. I have Ken Duttweiler freshen the motor every 2 years.

  • cool Chris I would go straight to v-8 even with numbers these buicks are making it's not cost effective to spend all that money on a stage motor , my buddie did go 9.7 on stock block, crank, rods, pistons, just heads and roller cam custom grind our buddie Laz is a Monster tuning will put video up soon thanks for your reply !

  • Thank you much for your positive comment! I couldn't have done it without family and friends.

  • I went mid 11's on the stock block with a TE-44 turbo (very small by today's standards). I upgraded to a Duttweiler twin turbo Indy Buick V6 race engine but only went low 9's at 148mph. Going to a V8 was a logical choice to be competitive when all the V8 Mustangs were starting to discover turbos.

  • Thanks! I "try" to stay into American cars just to be different. I guess it's because my family has always been into Detroit Iron...but the GT-R and the Supra are exceptions. I will be driving the modded VR-4 very soon and post video when I get it back from the shop.

  • Yup raced on Pinks Heads up in Sonoma with the GN and also Pinks with the Wolly Mammoth in Arizona. In the GN I staged too deep and when I put it in reverse, the starter lit the tree:(

  • didnt you race on pinks? ur trans brake fucked up or jumped right?

  • I say ummm you're a liar

  • so nice to see an asian man driving a car like that...awsome

  • VERY NICE.

  • nice car i have a ford gt and i put a grand national engine in it

  • that's odd, a japanesse driving an american car... cool!!!

  • Thats an awsome car, I finally have a 87 and it is slowly morphing into a new reality. Good Luck.

  • chris ur da shit i got a 3.8 lt in my buickgn but how hard did u take ur v6 till u before taking it out to a v8
