For more information about the artist and finger weaving, visit www.sashweaver.ca. The advanced method for weaving is carried out one thread at a time. Start by selecting the weft. In this piece, the weft will always be a front thread. I select the thread, putting it into weft position. It was a front thread so I start with a back to front. Front to back. Back to front. Front to back. At this point, I change the weft. The gray thread comes all the way around to the front and the green is, again, in weft position. Then, I start with a front to back. Back to front. Front to back. Back to front. All the way across to the very last thread. Pay attention with the last three threads. This is a common place where people get confused. And the weft returns to warp. Done. Ready to go again.
