Low Strung is a group of undergraduate and graduate cellists who have come together over the past six years to break out of normal cello repertoire and venture into the realm of pop and classic rock. Their concerts are filled with thundering arrangements of pieces by the Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Metallica, Coldplay, the Who, the Beatles, U2, AC/DC and many, many more artists from the 1950's to today.

An official undergraduate organization at Yale University, Low Strung performs two on-campus concerts annually and goes on tour in March and June. As one of the most unique musical ensembles in the Connecticut area, Low Strung has also become a favorite at weddings, local schools, and other events in the New England and New York areas.
