This is the original Star Wars Trailer, each frames has been painted using DAP (Dynamic Auto Painter) then reassembled in Virtuadub with its original soundtrack.
2925 frames, 3 average Dual core computers, 4 days of rendering plus some editing in photoshop.
Additional softwares : Topaz Simplify & Do it again.

@leonanim True, i've been telling this to myself since i made this video. Problem is you can't use the exact same painting rendering on multiple frames. It's never the same from one frame to another.

Frame rate is too high. The effect is jittery and doesn't really look like a painted illustration come to life.
