Let's give credit where it's due here... the music over this entire thing takes what would otherwise be sort of interesting drama, and makes it sound as if someone's about to unleash anthrax into New York City's water supply. Fantastically done... I miss this show.

The use of the bouncing ball sound effect was brilliant!

the moral of the story: don't bullshit a bullshitter...

@nfinn42 You've cut to the core of TWW's greatest arc, and you've put it well, sir! For me, this entire sequence grapples with the intellectual intensity that made TWW excellent. It staggers me that this episode starts so brilliantly, and goes on to include those devastating oval office scenes with Jed, Leo and Toby. How does a show manage to deliver that kind of punchy intellectualism minute after minute!? 'Praps only Sorkin will ever know!
P.S. I love Toby

@zeykshade its just a(or was I suppose) a great show. You've probably seen it but if you have'nt, have a look at the movie that inspired Aaron Sorkin to write the show..The American President...more than likely you have seen it...."What is the virtue of a proportionlal response" ...same scene as early West Wing

@mickells23a The fact it was dubbed 'The Left Wing' proves it was good.
