I know I'm kind of late, but hey, better late than never! Anyway, the entire week was pretty jumbled. First, it typhooned like crazy! Luckily, that was over Saturday night, leaving a nice and cool evening for Halloween on Sunday.
The first clip shows my friends and I carving some more pumpkins we accrued from one of our neighbors. She wanted us to carve them as decorations for her Halloween party, which happens later on in the video.
The majority of this video is an event I helped out with that was designed to show the local neighborhood more about what an American Halloween really is. We got a lot of the local shopkeepers on board to hand out candy in a type of psuedo "trick-or-treat" fashion. This is the first exposure this neighborhood has ever had to a real Halloween, and it really was an incredible night.
Huh, very cool but it seems the supply of candy isn't meeting demand. Kids look like they are having fun for sure. I was in Shiga last year for Thaksgiving but they didn't have any turkey. Lol. Great video!

@amnesiacwyo Yeah, we got a bunch of candy to give to the store owners and they also supplied some of their own, I don't know if they knew how to appropriately ration it, or if the families got the concept that once you stop at a store you don't do the same place twice. I think there was a lot of overlapping in that sense too.
As for Thanksgiving, I don't think I'll have a turkey but I do have a lot of imported goodies that I'm going to use to have the most awesome Thanksgiving in Japan ever Lol
