  • Ah makes me wonder what gunna happen if I get syuck in UAV's man that'll suck. Uncle Sam dont take the sky away!

  • UAV's are overrated! I remember reading about how in the 1950's everybody was saying there would be no more dog fighting because we had ICBM's and heat seaking missiles. Now people talk the same way about UAV's. The truth is, you'll never replace fighter pilots.

  • Take me out, to the black. Tell 'em I ain't comin' baaack. I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from meee.

  • @TheRobman139 he used it because it's the jet that the Chinese have in this game, and he took off from the Chinese airbase. If he was playing as USMC, he would be flying an F-35 instead. It's a game, don't overthink it

  • @panzerfaust777 so when you crash a UAV, do you feel bad that you weren't in the cockpit?

  • I don't get why they used a Chinese fighter in this video. That's a Chengdu J-10, China's home-grown answer to our F-16.

Plawranc: Current production F-16s - like Israel's F-16I - have plenty of computers, as much as most other current fighters. And they really kick butt, too.

Imagunnut: Other late 4th-gen fighters - e.g., Eurofighter Typhoon, Dassault Rafale, current production Su-27/30, Chengdu J-10, probably have as many computers as F-16s.

  • @Imagunnut In this day and age, practically everything is computerized. But Plawranc has a good point, these pilots have that bond with their planes, that transcends wars. But the fighters such as the P-51, Supermarine Spitfire, Mitsubishi Zero, and Me-109 were all examples of the ideal of a fighter. So here's a toast to fighter pilots, no matter what the day and age.

  • @Plawranc The F-16 was built to be naturally unstable, thus making it more maneuverable and agile, and because of that, its computer makes thousands of corrections per second to keep it airborne. So, the F-16 probably has more "CPU stuff" than any other 4th gen. fighter.

  • @obigandalf

    I don't,

I want a huge piston engine, with wires connecting the control surfaces, clunky but respnsive controls, with that clunky green military metal and black tactical info stickers. And a reflector gunsight with 50. Cal machine guns pointed at the enemy.

The days when fighter pilots, were man and machine, not computer and geek. The Dos Gringos and F-16 pilots are the last of this sort of pilot, as the F-16 has less CPU stuff than most fighters these days.

    True freedom

  • My new favorite band. Hooyah!!! Dos Gringos!!!! Hooyah PJ!!

  • This is a truly magnificent song. One of the best I have ever heard, from one of the best bands I've ever heard of- Dos Gringos.

  • Battlefield 2.

Ego-Shooter. Planes are shitty "simulated" (can't even really use that word).

But if you like a fast online-Shooter its good.
