No Loss in Compassion - Original Poem

PCC has been on a roll with people who just want to share the Gospel. With that said i searched through my old poems and found on written on October 24, 2004. DANG OLD SKOOL! Well hope you enjoy

Having Compassion
that is exactly what we need
Isiah only said here I am, send me
Moses said, I stutter when i speak
Sarah complained I'm too old
only 900 years this week

I'm too comfortable
that's what you're trying to say
maybe you care less about
that people who who may burn in hell today

A Disneylang Christian
Lving in magical world
Afraid to open your eyes to the reality
That sin can grow to any size
where there is NO PRIZE
Except eternal suffering, fire and pain

Do you not see the harvest is plenty
But th workers are few?
Yet the workers who are they?
Just me
Just you

Father God
Hear us say
Look and see
That these three things we ask of thee

Lord, open the doors
meaning we do to them
Not them coming to us

Lord, open his or her heart
Let him be receptive
To the truth at hand
That the Savior of our sins
Is the Son of Man

Open our mouths
Flow through
You're strength when we're weak
Let it be your words
Not ours
that we so rightfully speak

Let us consider what Christ said
and consider what Christ sees
A flock of lost sheep
In need of a sheperd

We have to be the sald of the earth
The flavor to the flatless taste
Cause if we're not even that
We're no better than waste
That's thrown out
That feeds the soil
Feeds the ground
Grows the harvest
the same harvest we were called to gather
Called to pick
Called to share
The Word of God
The Son of Man
Savior
Messiah

Let's not let these sheep be led astray
Lets not let the wheat turn into dust in a day
Let us pray
For the words
The strength
The guidance
The knowledge
wisdom
peace of mind
Courage
Boldness
Faithfulness
Love
And then
And only then
Will we be able to count the cost
Of having compassion for those
The lost
