This is our ride up the Mt. Evans Scenic Byway in Colorado. It is a beautiful and easy ride with outstanding scenery that culminates in Arctic tundra and a lake that is 12,800 feet up. The road to the summit was closed from this point on Sept. 6-11 so we missed getting 14,000 feet up to the top by only 6 days -DANG! I went for a stroll and got a bit light headed. At that altitude, there is only 60% of the O2 that is at sea level. I couldn't believe the guys that I saw bicycling up the road to the top. The scenery is just unbelievable. I am using a Contour HD 1080p camera mounted on the right side engine guard of my 2007 Suzuki C90T. There is a little bit of darkness in the centre of the picture. That is caused by a bug splat on the lens - found afterwards.
