Hey, lamers if you didn't like the cameras why didn't you get a refund? I've had my X10 security system up and running for more than 5 years. Put cameras in plain view and they will stop most intruders. Put up a bunch of warning signs too that tell intruders that the propety is protect by CCTV and audio recording and most trouble will be avoided. Cams won't stop everybody but that's what guns are for, right?

You get what you pay for with these systems. Namely generally poor performance unless you have optimal conditions.

are they good at night will you be able to tell who it is? and how far is the range on the signal?

I ordered the x 10 with a floodlight cam. Poor signal 20 feet through one exterior wall. VCR commander won't work my VCR. All and all...... JUNK!!
