Surf Fishing Florida for Pompano, Trout, and Whiting

I catch multiple species of fish from the surf using a nylure pompano jig tipped with a piece of shrimp. I include a video of a heron eating a fish and a crab.

Mmmmmm, pompano. Nice catch. Yummy catch. Those nylon jigs are great for just about anything. I've even caught flounder(fluke) off of them before. Have caught blue and ladyfish off of the next biggest size of nylon jig until all of the strands were gone and had to tie on a new one. But the small pink with white head are great for pomp, and tipped with shrimp or a small sandflea will drive 'em mad.

@ultimatemexicano3535 no haha it literally took him 30 minutes to eat it. He plucked it from the water when I let it go. sorry. I do have a video of us hand feeding seagulls though if you want to see it

@hunterandfisher11 By getting them yourself you skip the hefty price tag most restaurants charge for a grilled pompano, and you have the fun of fighting one of the strongest fish it's size. I love watching these vids this time of year, it gives me something to look forward to.
