how long did it take your to grow this big? did you get her as a sling?
cekap65 1 month ago
@cekap65 Takes about 4 years. I did not get her as a sling. She was 4" when I got her and it took 2 years to get to 7.5" I have had another AG from a sling and it took her 2 years to get to 5" So by estimation, it can take them 4-5 years to get to 7.5" dependant on feeding and temps you keep them at. They can really eat ALOT.

@talon4wd typically how defensive are A. Geneculatas and how defemsive is yours?
ADspenc 1 month ago
@ADspenc They can be defensive but its mostly due to their enormous appetite. Basically they think everything that moves is food so most of the time their defensive behavior is due to them wanting to feed. Mine tends to flick hairs at me after realizing I'm not trying to feed her. But does stand her ground. But every tarantula is different and so will be their temperment.
