They were longer in the leg and snout, and more like a pit-bull when they were fighting bulls, now they've been bred mostly for looks and they've lost much of their athleticism, and on top of that they have breathing and breeding problems. I really don't know why people do this to dogs, it's not fair.

dogs 101 rocks!!!!!!!
I have two English Bulldogs, a male, Brewski and a female, Tissue. Brewski fits nearly perfectly with the description in this video of an English Bulldog, but Tissue however was very easy to train and is a perfectly well behaved indoor dog.
One major thing this video didn't mention is how often an English Bulldog throws up. We're cleaning up puddles of it daily, so don't feed them too much, give them too much water at once, or feed them anything in the early morning.
