'Adariye Ruchirananiye' (Original Recording) - Mohideen Beig - From 'Daiwa Yogaya' (1959)

This is a classic by Beig master. Rukmani Devi and Senadeera Kuruppu starred in the movie 'Daiwa Yogaya' (1950s), the former also sung together with Beig. Kuruppu is famously known for his hair style in the 1950s in the film. Lyrics by Sri Chandrarathna Manawasinghe Beautiful music arrangement Sajjad Hussain too!

This particular recording was obtained directly from the SLBC archives, a compilation made for Sri Chandraratne Manawasinghe's 40th death anniversary(1964) held in 2004. Manawasinghe had been a pioneer in Sinhalese literature with beaituful poems (especially his patriotism on the country), his son Udaya has been in the literary circles too nowadays.
