Glacier Perito Moreno is one of the only glaciers that isnt receeding but is staying quite constant in size. It is situated in Los Glacieres National Park in Patagonia, Argentina. The biggest attraction is the glaciers activity. Because it moves almost 2 meters every day at the edge of the glacier big ice bergs break of and thunder down into the lake beneath it. It is a sight that doesnt leave you untouched. You can hear the glacier moving and cracking. It sounds like thunder roaring everywhere when it screaks and crumbles. From time to time the pressure gets to big and huge ice clumbs break off. I spend mostly the whole day just watching this. Staring at the ice mass moving and squeaking. Defenitely something I wont forget. I captured this ice-berg breaking of right on time!
