I saw it just a few days ago for the first time on a workover Rig that had been stuck for 20 days. The vibrator guys rigged up, vibrated 20 minutes, and rigged down. Quite amazing. The Company man said he will call them first next time since it would have saved them quite a bit of money if they would have had them come out on day one and shake it loose. It freed up 6000 feet of casing. Not bad for a few hours of work.

I have never seen the "Vibrator" work. I've seen it run on tubing, drillpipe, and Coiltubing, and not one time has it ever unstuck the pipe. It does shake bolts and pins out on everthing else though!

@wrknunderpresure, yep ur right...never did get it unstuck with it....ended up using wireline and setting off charges
