I'm a huge fan of the original and this production. It is intereting that you chose to make the lyrics the have the opposite mesage as the origianl, as apple picker's reel is an afferms the satisfaction of hard work and The Jolly Glaizer denotes what a pain it is. Also where can i find the music to the original?

You can hear Larry Hanks sing this on Folkways#FW02436, from 1972... still available from the Smithsonian Folkways web site. Or do a google search for "Larry Hanks Apple Pickers Reel" and you will find the words, musical score and midi file on the digital tradition folk music site.
