  • Great entrance! Badd Company was one of the most underrated teams of the late '80s. It's a shame WWF didn't do anything with this team.

  • Its amazing how great yet underrated

Bad Company was. For being a heel team, they sure got a babyface reaction. Guess that's what looking like and carrying yourself like stars with a great entrance can do for you.

  • Am I nuts or is one of those Diamond Dolls Kimberly, DDP's exwife?

  • @kingdomoftheworm Amen to that. They didnt have to do that Orient Express crap.

  • @Dfuq1964 I beg to differ with you. From '97-'99, DDP was one of the only reasons I tuned in to WCW. That feud with Savage was one of the hottest feuds of the '90s. They dropped the ball and took too long to give him the belt, then turned him heel.

  • @kingdomoftheworm Agreed. Badd Company was a good team that in the big leagues got blatantly underutilised.

  • I could remember seeing them here in Memphis. Tanaka and Diamond were Badd.

  • @goldzim Shawn Michaels didn't make a name for himself in the AWA? Or Curt Hennig? Or Scott Hall? Or the Road Warriors?

I'm not saying Vince didn't have his reasons for not doing anything with Badd Company... possibly even a petty and/or ridiculous ones. But he didn't seem to have the same underlying resentment towards the AWA guys that he held towards the NWA guys. I don't think he even saw the AWA as competition after he signed Hogan away.

  • Vince did not want to make them stars because they made a name for themselves in the AWA, so when Paul went to the WWF as Kato, Vince kept them on the bottom of the tag tam ranks.

  • @Dfuq1964 u should go back and watch that stuff. WWE has perpetuated this belief that DDP wasn't a good worker, but he was very solid. Even his late 95-96 stuff vs the Guerreros (I know, you'd have to be physically and mentally retarded to have a bad match with them, but still) was pretty good.

  • @Anglefan12 sorry, I don't think so.

  • @Dfuq1964 bullshit, ever see the DDP vs Savage or DDP vs Raven stuff? DDP wasn't a great technical wrestler but he was definately a great working man babyface.
