Courtesy of "The In Sound From Way Out" : After breaking away from The Morning After Girls, Sydney duo Aimee Nash & Scott Von Ryper formed The Black Ryder. Having locked themselves away in a home studio the debut album is nearly ready to be unleashed. First sneak peak is the track Burn and Fade that features Peter Hayes from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on vox and stalking their MySpace I see that friends Leah Shapiro from B.R.M.C and Ricky Maymi from Brian Jonestown Massacre also lend a hand. Can't wait for the album to be unveiled..

This music puts me in the same spiritual place as the late, famous Pakistani singer Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan...other-worldly, orgasmic ...like a cataclysm of love, fire and upheaval. It builds like the love inside the chest of a lover or like an underground fault-line until at some point...it just comes to the surface and explodes. Gorgeous music.

There's a road near my house that I take to work in the morning, it's a little out of my way but I wake up a few minutes early so I can watch the sun rise over all these open fields and I always listen to this song...it's magic. Great band
