I finished smoothing out all the rough parts and then I took to it with some Krylon Fusion (for plastic) flat black paint. I sat it on its back for a second and some of the paint caked off. I guess that's what happens when you don't let it dry enough between coats lol. I took some mineral spirits and rubbed off the error and dried it up a little bit; I then resprayed it and it looks great. I need to give it a few more coats but I have learned my lesson. I'll wait for a while before I put any more paint on it. I would say I give myself a 95% grade on this project. I learned a lot making this scoop about plastics and molds. My next project will be to make an entire transmission case for the Z125! Thanks for watching and click the star ratings if you want to.
