@typicalviewer2 Well because the world hasn't been destroyed and neither has any resources. The story is the new ice age greatly diminished the land available for agriculture; the different factions are fighting over the small amount of farmland left. Cold weather is no deterrent to mining, drilling, or manufacturing.

@slim21killas For good reason. This game was made in 2006. Battlefield 3 is coming out this year. Don't you think technology has progressed a little since 2006?
