On top of the world! On top of Mt. Sneffels at 14,150 ft. This is from the very top, when you get there, there is a log book you can sign in on. The forest service keeps a log at the bottom of the trail, for search and rescue reasons, then if you actually make it up, you can sign again as proof that you made it! This was a difficult, and timely journey. However, the view from the top was absolutely spectacular. The view and the feeling of accomplishment made the whole day worthwhile. There are 54 - 14,000 + peaks in Colorado. I have plans on doing another 2 or 3 next year! I hurt like hell today, but it feels good to know why!
