For some reason these fod lights just want to turn themselves on and off at random times, we're getting ready to have it looked at, and I'm thinking it has to do with the switch, but it's running down the battery and what not so I'm going to try and find a quick temporary solution =)

  • You can just put the blinker for the left signal on and the lights stay off. Did you find out what the problem was?

  • @TheCarlover97 FUCK U IF U DONT LIKE EM ive got the turbo 2.4 and NO PROBS AT ALL!

  • Typical pt loser peice of junk

  • the transmission on the 2000-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser

    Transmission

    5-speed Getrag manual

    4-speed 41TE automatic

  • the 2000-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser was assembled in

    Toluca, Mexico

    Graz, Austria (2002–2010)

  • Replace the turn signal switch 40 to 65 dollars for the part and it is simple to replace. There is a video on you tube that explains how to replace the part.

  • its a commonn problem with pt cruisers the problem lies with the multifunction switch (the switch that controls the lights and the turn signals and what not, you have to get that replaced, probably a 50 dollar part, for a temporary you can pull the fuse until you can fix it

  • Did he fix the problem, or did he end up selling the car with the fuse pulled for the fog lamps. You would think he would follow up on the video after the dealer fixed the problem. Ive also never seen someone be so rough on a vehicle. ex: slamming the shifter from Park into Drive, Drive into Reverse...so on and so forth. Also...what is his point in trying to rev that poor engine above 3500 RPM with no load on the engine. Not sure if I would want to buy a vehicle from this guy.

  • That's how you're supposed to jump a car anyways...
