A quick tutorial to show you how to make CNX Keypad Sound Files available to use in D3Pro. One thing I forgot to mention in the video: you want to edit the cnctrldb2.mdb Count how many times I say "uh" or "um" and win a prize. Hehe. Need to work on that :) If you need the password, just send me an email. I will ask you to provide proof of Crestron Dealership so don't think I'm an ass when I ask for it.

  • I have tried it again with the new release of software and it seems to work again. Hope it continues to help people.

  • This tutorial is now obsolete. I have confirmed that after the newest software update, this will no longer work. Renaming the file will cause erratic behavior with D3Pro not being able to interpret signals correctly.

  • After installing Crestron Master Installer, this tutorial may not work anymore. It seems that with a new release, D3Pro is doing an MD5 Checksum on the database. So when it is altered, it no longer works. Just a heads up. The alternative is to do what I was trying to avoid all along and that is to change the name of the file in use: intfc_extender_cnxbseries_v1_1.cmc to intfc_extender_cnxbseries_v1_0.cmc
