The first, the best whatever it is - here is a great HIGH DEFINITION Video Tour of the new Windows 7 Operating System from Microsoft.

We introduce the Windows 7 Beta GUI, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), Networking and Virtualization.

We are running Windows 7 on VMWare Fusion environment atop a Macbook Pro 2.5Ghz Intel.

In the video, we also go through bridged networking mode in Windows 7 so that you can access your media servers, NAS or network resources. (In our case we stream an HD H.264 stream of "Superbad" connected via Gigabit-Ethernet)

BUT REMEMBER, everything is written up on the site! --- Installation guides and more including troubleshooting the blue screen error in Win 7 (for few users).

Please leave a comment and more importantly come back for more groundbreaking news and articles from AtomicSub.

  • Thank You for sharing that with us.

As you have used both MAC and Windows 7 (Beta) - which of the two would you recommend to someone deciding between the two?

Its needed for both communication and video editing/graphic designing.

  • Hey Khonia,

Since you mentioned "video editing/graphic design" I would say hands down your system is a Mac. A lot of people (mostly immature kids) will claim that Windows is the best and start flame wars, pure trash.

Mac OS X is one of the most stable operating systems in the world, based on Unix. Both OS' have pluses and minuses.

When it comes to Video & Graphics Design, Mac's really do outperform and beat most PC's, period. Check my site for more or send me a message... No more space left..

  • Thank You for your prompt reply.

I have attempted to find a comparison on your website - perhaps you can direct me to an article on there?

I do here that one is better than the other - yet not many give reasons as to why one is better than another. Could you please PM me explaining why Mac is better suited for the job than Windows? Thank You :)

  • Hey Khonia, the site does not have a Windows/Mac comparison.

  • how can i solve activitation problem with win 7?

    please help

    thnx

  • windows 7 is what vista should have been. microsoft is kinda lazy, so don´t get to existed..

  • Mac OSX Leopard comes bundled with iLife, which gives you intricate photo, movie, audio, and web editing programs. In addition, the popular Final Cut program made by Apple is now the industry standard movie editing software in the film industry, and it's only available on Macs. In addition, Apple display screens (in Macbooks, Macbook Pros, iMacs, and Apple Cinema Displays) only use bright LED backlit 720p or 1080p HD screens. The 17 inch Macbook Pro has an incredibly wide color gamut.

  • Thanks for posting this, i'm very interested in how much cpu and ram the gadgets take up, in vista they were a hog and a complete waste for anyone playing games etc. Also, if there are any hitches like when you right click on a file if it takes the odd 4 seconds response time to edit it.

  • Some please tell me how to up to this os.

  • wtf did you put the beta on ur mac?

  • in private browsing was taken from google chromes incognito window
