Progress doesn't scare Kincardine, but stupidity, needless expense and dictat do. Wind power costs us twice as much and we pay again when these toys must be supplemented by gas or nuclear. They're dog butt ugly.

I was a little surprised when I heard on the News that the government was going to sink some more money into the nuclear plants. To me it just means there is going to be more demand for power in the future. There are other programs out there now for solar panels that a home owner can install on their roof. I see some results already around my area.

Yes solar is becoming bigger also as farmers are putting in large solar panels in their un used parts of fields. P.S I heard also that a large solar pannel plant is coming to I think the KW area?
