  • SJ AB has most of the Rc6 and Rc3 even if some Rc3's are rented by other companies. SSRT has also some Rc6. Rc2 are splitted up on Green Cargo and other freight companies. Rc1 and Rc4 belongs to GC. 1034 ÖBB are almost identical to Rc2. Norweigan El16 is a slightly modfied Rc4. Eight Rc have been scraped due to sever damages at accidents. Non of the Rc have been scarped to be too old.

  • Don't kno how many of them which are currently in service, but I think that the manufacturer, former ASEA, (now ABB)made around 350 of them. Some of them has been exported to other countries like Austria.

  • how many of these locomotives are in service?
