Agreed. Proprietary software has no place in this world for a company who wants to be a success nowadays. I'm not about to stop programming for PHP sites and transfer to ASP sites just for Silverlight.

Um....Silverlight works on Windows, OS X, and is being ported over to Linux also, so this isn't some one sided product.
