  • Nice video. I'm curious as to what the purpose of the first sequence was. It seemed, at first, to be the typical fear-inducing, worst-case-scenario, anti-autism propaganda, but the remainder of the film was not of such a tone. It is obvious that my initial interpretation of the opening sequence was incorrect. How did you mean for it to be interpreted?

  • I meant for it to inform viewers about the seriousness of the condition. Many people simply view disabled people as "retarded" and fail to look beneath the surface and see how hard things are for them. I didn't mean for it to be fear-inducing, merely eye-opening
