  • I used the motor as is out the box,no head shim.First in a Hangar9 Arrow 46 trainer, then in this dragon Lady.I had a cheap "in cowl muffer ".Then went back to original 3 piece ASP.Went much better. But the 3 piece tends to rattle apart.Solution :remove the original 3mm bolt.Drill out the holes to accommodate at least a 4mm threaded bar.Now Nylocs both sides, very tight.Same with bolting exhaust to engine.I have replaced the bearings, she runs very well.I think its a 11x6 prop.not that big.

  • Awesome video, I've got the same motor, broken in. I wanna use it for my GP Revolver. Did you have to use head shim for it to keep running or you didnt do any modifications? What size prop are you using on it? It looks like it gives you plenty of vertical :)
