The Lorain Palace Youth Theatre in
rehearsal for "Willy Wonka Jr." - the opening number, "Golden Age of Chocolate."

In "Willy Wonka Jr." Roald Dahl's timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this stage adaptation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," which features the songs from the classic family film "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

wow, this is awesome even for a rehearsal! where i do theatre it takes till the 3rd dress rehearsal for ppl to even begin to memorise their lines! how was the performance?

the performances were awesome. these kids perform like true professionals and we were sold out for all of our shows!

@xoUmbrella22 holy cow! that keeps them busy! i had a smaller cast, and had nothing to do in act two but eat the lollipops i had in the candyman song :D

@SwirlingUp oh hey i'm matilda too :D haha but then all the candy man kids change costumes for cooks chorus, then in the second half of the show we're oompa loompas, then return in the finale as candy man kids again :)

you guys were really good, but you reacting to the line to early on "But soon i'll be retiring" i heard gasps and stuff before he was done with the line. but thats ok, this was just a rehearsal. u were also really loud :) good projection!
