growth factors are one of the most important causes of cancer, they literally tell the cells to divide, out of control cell division is the hallmark of cancer. But you also need an oncogene, ie a mutated gene that codes for a growth factor for example, or a receptor etc. any time you introduce exogenous chemicals that work by acting on your DNA, ie steroids, growth hormones, you risk altering those genes and/or amplifying a mutated gene. Still really bad luck for him.

@MMAbadboy yes, for those who will want to point out that Leukemia is a type cancer, yes I do know that. I was simply making reference to any cancer.

@driven6996 , GH doesn't directly cause cancer or Leukemia. However, GH increases tissue, muscle, and cell growth. Therefore, it is a known fact that those who already had cancer and took GH, saw an increase in malignant cancer cells due to the fact that GH increases the production of cells or cancer cells.

im a female powerlifter and i have to go in 2 days to get tested for leukemia i never took any supliment other than creatine and the no2 stuff

There hasn`t been a case thats linked with steroids and leukemia it was the human form or GH that trigger`d Dennis`s cancer not the steroids.
