Good music.

My opinion is it's missing the old rawness of jimmy eat world.

but its good music none the less. Those strings isolated on their own are just beautiful.

@preetonk its definitely a grower. I bought it because, well its JEW. Gave it a few listens and didnt rate it. I enjoyed Chase This Light but it could never live up to Clarity or Bleed American. At first invented sounded boring too me and i felt that the production was too glossy that it took any power out of it. Now i listen to it loads. Give it a while to set in.

@hahasimp I totally agree. I find myself not ever listening to it anymore. It has a couple pretty good songs. But there are too many very weak and forgettable tracks on the album. And for a band with some historically terrific opening tracks to their albums, this one really lacked.

@kisscatastrophe Clarity and Static Prevails are the corner stone of JEW. Bleed America was a great album, but in the light of clarity, nothing will be as good. Invented is the closest style to which they got their start.

"Chase This Light: was as mediocre and predictable as you could want, but this album tops everything they've done prior. I never was a fan much of "Clarity" or "Static Prevails", they were ok, but nothing brilliant, "Bleed American" will always be the standard to live by and progress from. this album comes close.
