That "Its Hip To Eat Square" sign must be a play on Huey Lewis's hit '80s song "Its Hip To Be Square". I dont know if your familiar with the phrase "3 square meals a day", but I think thats what it refers to. I bet you were stoked about the Soy Milk.

Cool place, our uni has a cool canteen too ^^ i love the "my pantry" thingy but would people really use it?! over here you wouldn't be caught dead cooking your food, you have to look cool! not that theres anything wrong with cooking your own food, but...

I go there and to be honest, I find the pantry a little intimidating, I usually just go for cereal and then get milk from the fountains in the main area.

I just looked up Trattoria in Wikipeida: A trattoria is an Italian style of restaurant, less formal than a ristorante. There are generally no printed menus, the service is casual, the prices low, and the emphasis is on a steady clientele rather than on haute cuisine. The food is modest but plentiful and is served family-style (i.e. at common tables).
