I'm delightful that you love it. Sipandone literally means a group of the composed 4000 islands whose khong island is not only the largest one, but it has both historical and cultural legendary significance that other Lao people ought to know more about. Many important country leaders were born in the Khong Island such as Gen. Kourasit, many ministers like Aphay, Inpeng, Vongsavanh, Kou, a senior to the King's council, Soubanh and including LAO PDR President Khamtay Sipandone and many more.

This song and relics was sang by 16 years old girl from Australia in the mid' 90's. I still have the original tape, It was recorded on the tape back than not CD. This woman just replicates the whole relics. This woman sings ok! but the 16 years old (now she probably in the 30's) sings alot better.

Of all Chidharani's videos, this is her best performance that deserves a standing ovation!! She has such a bright beautiful smile that can light up the room. I like the natural beauty of Lao sceneries. Her Lao southern voice makes me feel right at home. My parents are also from the South: Pakse and Khongsedone. I think a new star is born! She really got a combination of singing talent and good look! Bravo from USA!
