This is an awesome video!! Great soundtrack, too.
We've been going to La Chureca every year since 2006 to host free medical clinics. Will be going back next month!! I can'r wait!!!!

j'ai vecu au nicaragua 2 annees et une fois je suis alle a la chureca et j'ai prends la flu et je souviens que pour trois jours j'etait mal a la tete.

I've seen this video before...was this from Naropa's trip down to Nicaragua with Debbie Young? Well put together film. I like the sequence of the pictures. I have been to La Chureca and you did a good job of capturing emotions, and people.

Yes, this is from a delegation with the Americas Association for the Care of Children with Debbie Young. We have continued to return to La Chureca, unlike most visitors, and now have developed relationships with the people living there. We are in the process of starting a community development program and trying to teach empowerment to the children. Last spring we brought about 15 La Chureca children up to Jalapa for a week to help build a school.
