  • Its unbelievable how many tornadoes Tuscaloosa gets.

  • Do some people just press the dislike because they are fucking pricks? Move out of your mothers house and quit hating the world douche bags...

  • @81pluto More than that for smaller ones. Eyes on the skies. We actually get as many as "tornado alley" but they're not as publicized.

  • Damn you guys get A LOT of tornadoes! December 2000, September 2005, TWICE in April of 2011, how the hell do you guys get by?

  • i like how mr. spann says: 'tornada emargency'. it seems the weathermen in new england dont bother to issue tornado emergancies. i know they are rare in new england. but why didnt they issue a tornado emergency for Springfeild, MA? THE RARE TWISTER WAS CLEARLY SEEN HITTING SPRINGFEILD, MA AND NOBODY BOTHERED TO ISSUE IT A TORNADO EMERGANCY!

  • they have a video up of these 2 guys who filmed the tornado crossing the interstate and drove very close to it.

  • @bornagainjessie a Tornado emergency is a tornado on the ground dude..of course theyre gonna tell us that..you clearly hear him say there we see its on the ground so there is a tornado emergency..so yea

  • @hawkfan2300 i know this is huge for a tropical storm spawned tornado just huge..i remember this day..i was kinda freaked out

  • @ruleta74835 Ok. But how common are marcobursts in nyc?

  • @bornagainjessie - Basically it's an intense downward/outward rush of wind, rain and hail eminating from a thunderstorm. In the NYC storm, the macroburst wind gusts were even stronger (125 mph) than those in the small tornadoes that touched down (80 & 100 mph, respectively). I guess (key word!) that the forecasters saw rotation indicated by radar but were not sure if a tornado was on the ground in the city. Maybe otherwise they'd issue an emergency, I'm not sure.
