darrencred. That's extremely interesting. I always find it an extremely beautiful place. my brother got attached to it first through work and his son went to school there. I came and played and taught cello throughout Devon including Sidmouth. I will always love the place.
i was brought up in Sidmouth. The Byes (between Sidford and Sidmouth) house some of my most treasured childhood memories. Ant & Dec did the Donkey Sanctuary..i still have my badge from 1982 when i met Princess Anne.
I remember when the Duke and Duchess of York went through Sidford. 1986 i think.
I went to the same school, and had the same teacher as Duncan from Blue.
sidmouth is like my second home. beutiful video!

the byes have changed. lucky tom. i lived there for 12 years, and know sidmouth like the back of my hand.
i sea fished over jacobs, and one of my first memories was going out fishing when i was 5.
i remember catching newts in a pond near Sidmouth College.
The Byes was my connection to Sidmouth... many memories..like to many i would care to mention.
Branscombe was my nan's town, went there every Saturday....and my grandad is buried there.
I love Sidmouth.
