Hey Brent, I'm definitely gonna catch the new show. Corner Gas keeps me laughing no matter how many times I see the episodes, so I know I'm in for more laughs with "hiccups". I bet this show goes on forever because it's hard stop hiccups once they start. ;-)

I miss Corner Gas it's my favorite TV series ever and I watch it all the time even though it's no longer on. Since I'm in Texas I don't get to see too much Canadian programing anymore so I'm sure it will be a while before I get to see it.

@speeddemonld I think so too. lol@Timothy, you're right, its hard to stop hiccups. That was funny and clever :) Maybe it will get better........lets hope. Corner Gas was such a funny and nice show the whole family could watch together and everyone got the jokes. I'll keep giving the new show a try.

I wish Brent the best. Corner Gas will always be one of my favorite shows. I have it on DVD and even after I've seen the same episodes over and over and over again, I'm still laughing and entertained. Thanks for all the laughs Brent. I wish you continued success, but I don't see this new show as lasting a season. Its just lacking too much.

As much as I was HOPING this would be as good, or almost as good, it falls short and its not just bacause Corner Gas was so great (it was), its just because there is nothing to the show and characters thats solid enough to keep watching it. Its like a watered down Brent and Wanda without a good supporting cast to back them up. Its just not enough.

Sorry, Brent, but this show is NOT funny. Just another sitcom in the city. Corner Gas was alot funnier. I will be shocked if you get high ratings. At least maybe you could add a laugh track to cover the empty spots. Brent you are a class act and brilliant comedian. What were you thinkin or were you swayed by your wife's opinion of what "funny" is? Didn't someone behind the scenes read this first and see it is not funny? I wish you all the best in your comedy plans.

Brent is a great stand up but i just saw hiccups and to say it was god awful would be an understatement. Ughhh that was a depressing experience. Dan for Mayor was equally as abysmal. Canadian tv is in a sad state if this schlock is the best we can produce. Rent a goalie is the only decent canadian comedy episodic in the last 5 years.
