  • yeah man im jealous i really wish i coulda taken that class from him

  • @Dierwolf2000 That's right, i studied glass at alfred with angus as my professor.. we built a new one each year, each time a little different, but always a fun time

  • wicked, im jealous, wish i had a furnace of my own. how much wood do you go through?

  • Angus Powers, in his role as Professor at Alfred University, has his students do a similar furnace. Don't know the specifics just saw pics when Angus guest lectured, but damn if its not cool!

  • can you supply more information about where this furnace is and who operates it?

it is not common in the world of glassblowing.

even the most encient furnaces working nowdays use coal or diesel.
