Rehabilitation road for Sri Lanka's child soldiers - Feb 14

The United Nations has accused the Sri Lankan military and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) of recruiting child soliders.

The international body says thousands have been kidnapped from their villages and forced into the 25-year conflict.

The government says it has been taking steps to help child soldiers who were captured or surrendered on the battlefield.

David Hawkins reports from a rehabilitation centre in Ambepussa in central Sri Lanka.

i find it very funny when tamil tiger supporters in th west complain of human rights abuse by sri lanka to their white masters, when the fighters they use to fund and support killed fo many sinhalese and muslims villagers in the eastern province. its a good lesson for u diaspora....no body supported u bcos LTTE broke every internatinal HR laws.

Sri Lankan State Terrorism killed over 20,000 civilians in the last four days of the war. They killed 35,000 babies and woman to capture 7,000 tiger soldiers. Other countries that sponsor state terrorism like Cuba, Iran, China, and Russia blocked the rest of the world from charging SL Gov with war crimes. This doesnt mean its the end of it.  Rajapacsa brothers will pay. There is no other choice but to take up arms again.

i know that amnesty international and human rights watch, they have both said that both sides have been guilty of violating human rights. that sounds right to me, since nobody's perfect. but i know the sri lankan president says that those organizations are over-exagerrating what the govt. has done. can either of you help me to know what's true?
