Why can't he be tanked on the platform? and why cant you just stand on the plat form when he dose phase 2. i know there is probly a reason why, but i don't actually know why.

In phase 1 he CAN be tanked on the platform but it's strongly advised against because he puts a debuff on people within x yards of him that makes your casts longer so if the range were there they would never get anything off, which is more bad for healers.
You could have the casters do the dance instead of melee but that just means they'll get less casts off and it's more of a pain than it is for melee.

And the reason you can't stand on the platform in phase 2 is because there will be...I guess you can call them invisible poison spikes that deal damage to anyone standing up there.
