Hamlet has come back to Denmark, and on arriving finds with his friend Horatio a gravedigger digging a grave for Ophelia, who Hamlet doesn't yet know is dead. The gravedigger is hilarious.

  • That's because "I knew him well" isn't the line in the play.

  • I don't know. A lot of people seem to think it's "I knew him well", but it's actually "I knew him, Horatio", which is what they say here. :)
