Jackie was about 20 at this time. Here's what she said in an interview about it later:

"My roommate at the time worked for Chuck Barris productions and was responsible for getting potential contestants in to audition. She had a quota and one week when she hadn't met it begged me just to show up. So I went and, since I wasn't taking it seriously, just mouthed off when I got there."

It's so sad that they didn't. The Runaways aren't The Runaways without her and calling it a biopic is just total lies when half the stuff that happened in the movie didn't actually happen in real life. What a wasted opportunity to share the story of a really great band

Jackie is my favourite runaway. She is so badass and still is! Even if she did trade her bass in to become a lawyer. This is so funny, she's amazing. I wonder if she went on that date. Haha!
