To say "herring takes away from the band" is nonsense,no offense, I loved panic w mikey just as much as I do with jimmy. But the fact is that jimmy is more knowlegeable in theory and jazz than all the other boys combined, and is a far more gifted guitarist than mikey, and he creates a completely new feel to panic, while sticking true to the licks mikey always played. Everyones entitled to their own opinion, mine is that jimmy has filled mikeys shoes and more, unlike george mcsuckell.

You're right...Mikey took them to a whole nother level...Jimmy is quite knowledgeable but he plays too fast and too mono-toned and he steps all over what Mikey used to paint perfectly...the lingering lead was a far mor magical player than Jimmy
