i saw it live in bangkok, it was mind blowing. all theses different scenarios and the soundtrack and the movement all put together forms a complete masterpiece. it's sad that this was their last show..
saw the show last night in melbourne and loved every minute! a blend of theatre, dance borrowing from film. the pure effort that it would take to create a show like this is admirable.
I saw genty's latest show in melbourne. it was SELF INDULGENT CRAP! minimal puppetry, just crappy posturing and repetitive movements. complete lack of talent. illusionist? Where? The crowd were restless and bored. poor show.
This show promises to be one of Genty's finest. I've seen five works of Compagnie Philippe Genty, and trained with them at VCA in Australia: Lands End bears all the Genty signatures, magic and dream-like illusion. This company gets better and better - I hope there are still tix available in Melbourne!
