You're one of my top inspirational artists! I tried combining elements of Rocko's style into my drawings and I love my work now! I agree that a life in art is the most challenging but also the most rewarding. I plan to 3D model/animate for video games or CG movies. There's no feeling in the world like seeing an idea come to fruition. Thank you for doing what you do!

I just got a chance to see thisshow again and its like a new experience. Back then I didnt understand all those adult jokes but now its just so funny.

I loved this show back in day, I get a kick out of seeing it on Nick every once in a while. Is there any chance for a Rocko film or even internet short in the future?

What type of computer program do you use to draw with? It seems to smooth out and straighten every shape of the lines you draw.

To think, this awesome, talented man played the voice of Ralph Bighead. LOFL I laugh my ass off hearing this guy's voice, despite he sounds like an average Joe. You made quite the impact Mr. Joe. Im honored to have been just a 7 year old kid at the time I saw your hilarious work.

Yes, I wrote a book called "Creating Animated Cartoons with Character" that will be coming out this August through Random House/ Watson Guptil. It started as an ebook available on my site, and it did so well Random House caught wind of it.

Rocko was more of a personal project for me, but there was a lot of butting heads with the network which took the enjoyment out of it. Lazlo was more enjoyable because Cartoon Network at the time was a better home for the show.
Advice? A life in art is the most challenging and rewarding path you can take. Make sure you have the stomach for it and take the ride. It's a blast!

Yes. A lot of that crew went on to incredible things ( Conrad Vernon, the director of the Shrek movies was also on that crew.) My crew on Camp Lazlo also had some future show creators like Thurop Van Orman and JG Quintel who is in production at CN on "The Regular Show!
